If you’re new to Shopify in 2025, don’t worry! This step-by-step guide will help you launch your store, add products, set up payments, and go live—all with no prior experience required.

Starting Your Free Trial

1. Navigate to shopify.com to start your free trial.
2. Enter your email address and store name.
3. Answer a few quick questions about what you’re selling and your location.
4. Shopify will direct you to your dashboard, your new command center.

Setting Up Your Online Store

1. Online Store Navigation: Go to the “Online Store” section and select “Themes.”
2. Choosing a Theme: Browse the theme section at the bottom. You can start with a free theme like “Dawn” or “Craft.”
   • Click “Customize” on your selected theme to open the theme editor.
3. Customizing Your Theme: Use the drag-and-drop editor to adjust elements, sections, colors, fonts, and images to suit your brand.

Adding Products

1. Head over to the “Products” section and click on the “Add Products” button.
2. Product Details:

Setting Up Payments and Shipping

1. Click on the settings icon at the bottom left of your screen.
2. In the settings page, click on “Payments” to activate Shopify Payments, allowing you to accept credit cards, Apple Pay, and Shop Pay.
3. Choose a payment provider by searching and selecting one that suits your needs.
4. Go back and navigate to “Shipping and Delivery.”
   • Set your shipping rates based on weight, flat fee, or location.

Connecting Your Domain

1. Navigate to “Domains” under the settings menu.
2. If you already have a domain, enter it and click “Next.”
