How to Connect Your R36s to Wi-Fi
Setting up your R36s Wi-Fi repeater is a straightforward process. Follow these steps to ensure a successful connection to your Wi-Fi network.
Prepare for Setup
Before you begin, make sure you are near your Wi-Fi network and have your network password readily available. This preparation will make the setup process more seamless.
Step 1: Connect to the R36s
Start by plugging in the R36s and powering it on. Using your computer or phone, look for a Wi-Fi network called something like Alpha R36S. Connect to this network; no password is required during the initial setup.
Step 2: Access the Setup Page
Open a web browser and type in the IP address provided in the setup instructions. If that doesnβt work, try the alternative link mentioned in the video. Press enter to access the setup page.
Step 3: Log In
You will be prompted to log in. Use the default username and password, which is admin for both, unless you have changed them previously.
Step 4: Set Up the Wi-Fi Repeater
Once logged in, navigate to the Wizard or Repeater Client Mode Setup section. Click on the Scan or Site Survey option to find nearby Wi-Fi networks.
Select the Wi-Fi network you wish to repeat or connect to, and enter the Wi-Fi password for that network. Additionally, you can customize the SSID (network name) for your R36s if desired.
Step 5: Save Settings and Reboot
After entering the necessary information, click Apply or Save Settings. The router will reboot, which may take about 30 to 60 seconds.
Step 6: Connect Your Devices
Once the R36s is connected to the source Wi-Fi, it will rebroadcast the signal. You can now connect your devices to the newly established network.
Thank you for following this guide, and enjoy your enhanced Wi-Fi coverage with the R36s!
