Sending Money Instantly with Navy Federal
Transitioning to digital banking has never been easier, especially when it comes to sending money. If you’re a member of Navy Federal Credit Union and want to set up Zelle for instant money transfers, follow these simple steps.
Enroll in Digital Banking
Before you can use Zelle, you need to ensure that you’re enrolled in Navy Federal’s digital banking platform. If you haven’t enrolled yet, visit the Navy Federal website to get started.
Access the Navy Federal App
Once enrolled, open the Navy Federal mobile app or log into your online banking account. Look for the “Pay and Transfer” section, and select “Send Money with Zelle.”
Setting Up Zelle
If this is your first time using Zelle, you will need to enroll by linking your U.S. mobile number or email address. Follow the prompts to verify your chosen method. Keep in mind that your mobile number or email can only be associated with one Zelle account at a time.
If you’ve previously used Zelle with another financial institution, you’ll need to transfer your information to Navy Federal. For assistance, contact the Navy Federal Zelle support team at 1-888-426-328.
Sending Money
Once you’re enrolled in Zelle, you’re ready to send money. To make a payment:
- Select the recipient from your contacts or manually enter their information.
- Enter the amount you wish to send.
- Confirm the transaction.
That’s it! You’re all set to use Zelle through Navy Federal Credit Union.
