How to Activate Your New Capital One Credit Card
Congratulations on receiving your new Capital One credit card! Activating it is a quick and straightforward process. Below are three options to get your card activated so you can start using it immediately.
Option 1: Activate Using the Capital One Mobile App
- Download the app: If you haven’t already, download the Capital One mobile app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Sign in: Open the app and log in using your Capital One username and password. If you don’t have an online account, you’ll need to create one.
- Navigate to Activation: Once logged in, tap on Profile > Account and Feature Settings and select Activate a Credit Card.
- Follow the prompts: Complete the activation process as directed in the app.
Option 2: Activate Using the Capital One Website
- Visit the activation page: Go to the official Capital One credit card activation page.
- Log in: Enter your username and password to sign in. If you don’t have an online account, you will need to create one.
