Adding AdSense Code to WordPress

Hello everyone! Welcome back to our channel. In this article, I’m excited to share with you how to add AdSense code to your WordPress site. Let’s dive right in!

Step 1: Access Your WordPress Dashboard

First, log into your WordPress dashboard. This is where you will manage all aspects of your website.

Step 2: Install the Google Site Kit Plugin

1. Navigate to the Plugins section on the left sidebar and click on Installed Plugins.
2. On this page, click on the Add New button located at the top left of the screen.
3. In the search bar, type Google Analytics and press Enter.

You will see several plugin options for installation. For this guide, I will be using Site Kit by Google, which has over 4 million installations and strong ratings. It is also compatible with my version of WordPress.

1. Click on the Install Now button next to Site Kit.
2. Once the installation is complete, click on the Activate button to enable the plugin.

Step 3: Sign In to Google

Now that the Google Site Kit plugin is activated, you’ll find it in the side navigation bar.

1. Click on Site Kit to open it.
2. You will need to sign in with your Google account. Click on the Sign in with Google button.
3. Choose your Google account and click on the Continue button.

Step 4: Configure AdSense with Google Analytics

1. On the next page, you will see options for configuration. Ensure that you toggle on the Select option and click on the Continue button.
2. Follow the on-screen instructions to integrate your AdSense code into your WordPress site using the Google Analytics plugin.
