In this video, I’m excited to share with you how to add a blog post in WordPress using Elementor. Let’s dive right in!
Installing Elementor

Access the WordPress Dashboard: Start by logging into your WordPress dashboard.

Go to Plugins: Navigate to the "Plugins" section on the left sidebar and click on "Installed Plugins."

Add a New Plugin: In the installed plugins page, click on the "Add New" option at the top left corner of the screen.

Search for Elementor: Use the search bar to search for "Elementor" and hit enter.

Choose Elementor: In the search results, you’ll see several plugin options. Look for the Elementor Website Builder by Elementor.com, which boasts over 10 million installations, excellent ratings, and is compatible with your WordPress version.
- Install and Activate: Click on the "Install Now" button. After the installation is complete, click on the "Activate" button to enable the plugin.
Setting Up Your Elementor Account
Once activated, you will be directed to the Elementor onboarding page. Here, click on the “Create My Account” button and follow the instructions to set up your account.
Creating a New Blog Post

Return to the Dashboard: Go back to your WordPress dashboard.

Navigate to Posts: Click on the "Posts" section on the left sidebar.

Add a New Post: Click on the "Add New" button.
- Edit with Elementor: You’ll see an option to "Edit with Elementor"—click it to launch the Elementor editor.
Designing Your Blog Post

Add Elements: Once in the Elementor editor, click on the add icon to introduce various elements. You can add headings, images, text blocks, and more.

Choose Your Structure: Select the structure you prefer for your blog post. Elementor allows you to customize and adjust every element according to your liking.
- Edit Your Content: Craft your blog post by editing the text, images, and layout until you’re satisfied with the overall design.
Publishing Your Post
When you’re happy with your blog post, look for the “Publish” button located at the top right corner. Click it to make your post live on your website!
